Since autumn days are not so cold yet, and there are a lot of yellow leaves on the ground, we want to spend more time away from the noisy streets of the city and enjoy the October fall. Of course, children enjoy it the most. Therefore, on the 23d of October, a master class "Autumn Fantasy" was held for them in Stryiskyi Park, jointly organized by the ForestCom NGO and the park management.

More than ten children were involved in the master class. All of them spent time outside with great interest, working with autumn eco-materials: they created colorful autumn ikebanas. For this, curious nature lovers needed the leaves of sycamore, maple, oak, hazel, linden, elm, lingonberry and ginkgo biloba. While making their compositions, the children either turned the leaves into rose buds or wrapped them together in colorful bouquets. Now both adults and children know what the leaves of all the trees look like.

Last but not least, with the help of the staff of Stryiskyi Park, the participants planted young trees. By joint efforts, the children and their parents were able to join the renovation of the Park. In the end, the children planted 5 tulip trees and 5 chokeberries. A dozen more seedlings of other trees were left to the park staff to complete the compositions on their own.

Thanks to the participants for their initiative, curiosity and time spent together!
