Eco-educational excursion to Kolodenetsky forest - PHOTO

On June 19, the third educational tour of the NGO "Forestcom" was led by an expert on environmental education, Taras Kharachko. During the hike, we explored the life and development of the wealthy biodiversity of the Kolodentsy forest in the Lviv region. And on the way back, we cleared the forest of piles of plastic that people had left there.

During the event, we saw animal trails on which wild boars run and the first edible mushrooms and medicinal herbs and even learned to notice suspicious stumps left over from potential illegal logging. And the children learned why it is prohibited to pluck Red Book flowers and how to navigate in the forest.
