"Helping birds we help ourselves"
Лісові ініціативи і cуспільство
On December 1, the ForestCom NGO visited Kolodentsi School, where our expert Taras Kharachko gave three lessons "Helping birds we help ourselves" for sixth and seventh graders. More than seventy students had a great opportunity to get acquainted with the “Forest for Children” program and learn more about how to care for birds properly and be useful to them in winter.
Thanks to the cooperation with the school principal Zhanna Ankushina-Korol and the biology teacher Halyna Molodovets, we managed to interest the curious students and have a great time together. Our expert was especially pleased to work at the school he graduated from in 1995.
As a result of cooperation with various schools, together with students and teachers, we plan to hold a competition for the best photo of feeding birds in winter. We look forward to the beginning of the season of feeding!
