Volodymyr Yarotskyy
Volodymyr, a graduate of Kharkiv National University's Faculty of Biology (2007), has built a distinguished career in forest research. Having worked extensively at the Ukrainian Research Institute of Forestry and Agroforestry, specializing in the study of dead wood within Ukrainian forest ecosystems, he transitioned to the role of researcher at Kreminna Forests National Park in 2021.
Volodymyr's research focal points encompass the study and protection of small carnivorous mammals, forest ecology, and protected mating. Beyond his research pursuits, he actively contributes to environmental education, developing programs, and delivering lectures on nature conservation. With a longstanding commitment to studying and safeguarding the biodiversity of Ukrainian forests, Volodymyr exemplifies dedication to environmental preservation.
