Activity of NGO "ForestCom" is supported by the US Forest Service International Programs

Ihor Skolskyy

PhD, Co-Founder NGO "ForestCom", Board Memeber, consultant

Ihor has a PhD in Forestry (Forest Planting) and is a Corresponding Member of Forestry Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Ihor is very well experienced in Forest Field Monitoring, including drone navigation, and other Forestry Research topic. He works at the Research Department of the Ukrainian National Forestry University since 2008. His active engagement in civil society movement to protect forests from illegal logging started in 2017 while helping to manage the Forest Watch project.

Ihor is working on supervising, planning, and helping to implement the project activities in the field and organizing other events.
