Treasures of Verkhovyna: The Perkalab-2 Cave
In the majestic Big Stone cliff, next to the already familiar Perkalab-1 cave, lies another natural gem – Perkalab-2 cave. This enigmatic cavity, stretching for 31 meters, is a tectonic-gravitational formation that developed in Triassic marbled limestone.
Unlike its neighbor, Perkalab-2 features a wide vertical crevice, giving it a unique character and distinctiveness. Every meter of this cave holds its own secrets, waiting to be uncovered by explorers.

Visitors are rewarded with a spectacular view at the cave's exit – a panorama of the Velykyi Preluchnyi stream valley that enchants with its natural beauty and grandeur. This makes Perkalab-2 not just an interesting speleological site, but also an excellent viewpoint.

It's important to note that due to its specific location and structure, the cave is only accessible to professionals and specialists as part of adventure tours. This helps preserve its pristine condition and ensure visitor safety.
The Verkhovyna National Nature Park development project aims not only to preserve such unique natural features but also to make them a part of our ecological heritage. Through informational programs and tourism infrastructure, the project seeks to enhance public understanding of these valuable sites.
