Announcement: Training on Distinguishing Illegal Logging and Responding to Forest Violations

Whether you enjoy leisurely forest walks, actively participate in forest conservation organizations, work as a nature reserve inspector, or simply have a passion for safeguarding our forests - this training is for you!


During the session, our experts will cover essential topics, including:


  • Identifying legal versus illegal logging activities

  • Recording coordinates of felled trees

  • Recognizing common forest-related violations

  • Verifying illegal logging in authorized logging areas

  • Informing relevant authorities about forest violations

  • Utilizing voluntary forest management certification to combat illegal activities


Practical exercises in the forest will allow you to apply the knowledge gained during the training.


Date: August 12-13, 2023


Venue details will be provided to selected participants.


To participate, kindly fill out the APPLICATION FORM by August 3, 2023. Only 10 participants will be selected based on their motivation to attend the training, with consideration for gender, age, and regional balance.


Participation in the training is free of charge. We will provide meals, accommodation, and reimburse travel costs for ticket holders (travel by sleeper, second class InterCity, or bus).
