Electronic Forestry Permits Only - now in effect

"Forestry Permit" software product serves as a registry of permits granting the right to engage in economic activities related to timber harvesting. The registry contains all the necessary data regarding forestry permits to make this information accessible to the public. The Forestry Permit registry covers the entire territory of Ukraine, and access to the data entered in the registry is provided on the LK.UKRFOREST.COM website.

The issuance of electronic forestry permits is an integral part of the wood movement control system, tracing the journey of timber from its origin to the end consumer. Transitioning to electronic forestry permits aimed to eliminate corruption risks associated with paper permits. Additionally, electronic permits will enhance control over forestry use and strengthen efforts against illegal logging.

From now on, obtaining a forestry permit is quick and convenient, without the need to visit the Interregional Forest and Hunting Department or the Centers for Administrative Services. Permits are issued upon submission of an applicant's request in electronic form through the Unified Environmental Online Platform "EcoSystem" (https://eco.gov.ua/services/otrimannya-lisorubnogo-kvitka). Applicants can submit their requests through authentication using an integrated electronic identification system, a qualified electronic signature, or other means of electronic identification that unambiguously establish the applicant's identity on the "EcoSystem" online platform.The electronic forestry permit obtained by the forest user is automatically recorded on the map of the State Enterprise "LІATs" website lk.ukrforest.
