On September 5, fifty internally displaced Ukrainians living in the Shchyretsk Territorial Community received humanitarian aid. The ForestCom NGO team, thanks to the support of the "Union for Action" program, handed over kits with products and hygiene products to IDPs.

"From the beginning of the war, IDPs from various regions of Ukraine began to come to our community. At the beginning of the war, 1,045 people registered in our community. Fewer people live now, mostly in the private sector. Among them are people who really need help, but are ashamed to say so. In most cases, these are people of retirement age."
- said Iryna Panchyshyn, head of the department of social protection of the population of Shchyretsk TC.

The project "Ensuring humanitarian needs of IDPs aged 30 and over" will continue until november. During this time, the ForestCom NGO team will visit IDPs in Shchyretsk, Boryslav, Zolochiv and Zhuravnen communities of Lviv region several times and will hand over aid. It is planned to cover the urgent needs of about one and a half thousand people within the framework of the project.
