ForestCom NGO is a partner of the Transformational Learning Network for Sustainability (TransLearnN)

NGO "ForestCom” has become an associate partner of the Consortium of Universities of Ukraine and Europe in executing the Erasmus+ project called “Transformational Learning Network for Resilience (TransLearnN)”. The project aims to provide opportunities for Ukrainian higher education to ensure a sustainable and reliable post-war recovery of Ukraine over the next two years.

From December 5th to 8th, 2023, the Kick-Off & Boot Camp event of the project took place at the University for Sustainable Development in Eberswalde, Germany. European and Ukrainian scientists and environmental experts gathered to work on solutions that will serve as a solid foundation for Ukraine's future reconstruction efforts. The project brings together partners from 11 cities and 5 countries.

Representatives from NGO "ForestCom” Oksana Pelyukh and Liubov Kondratiuk, presented the organization's experience and educational opportunities for the scientific community on the "Sustainable Communities" working panel. They shared insights into organizing webinars, workshops, and eco-therapeutic walks, which are powerful tools for informal environmental education. Such initiatives contribute to a better understanding, appreciation, and conservation of nature, which is an integral part of our country's overall sustainable development.

Lively discussions, knowledge exchange, and new connections were the highlights of the productive week at Seezeit-resort am Werbellinsee, Germany.
