Can you go to the forest during the war?

For many, autumn is associated with colorful forest landscapes and walks for mushrooms. However, the war made adjustments in the lives of Ukrainians, and now it is better to refrain from walking. Why - we will tell you further.

In some regions of Ukraine, civilians were forbidden to walk in the forest during the war. The purpose of this prohibition is to prevent the occurrence of fires and to avoid acts of sabotage. In addition, in the de-occupied territories areas of the forest are often mined , which pose a threat to people's lives. This prohibition applies both to pedestrians and to any type of transport. The exception is only transport used for the Armed Forces and other military formations, as well as for forestry purposes.

However, there zre good news for the residents of the western regions - they can continue  going to the forest, because there is no ban on this territory.
