From Dream to Reality: First Steps in Building a Tourism and Rehabilitation Hub in the Heart of the Carpathians

Recently, we achieved a significant milestone in implementing our and Global Conservation project to develop the park's tourism infrastructure. We successfully leveled the site for the construction of a camping pavilion and visitor center, and seeded it with local Carpathian grasses.

This event marks a significant step forward in achieving our goals of creating a national park gateway in the Perkalaba area and developing the Verkhovyna tourism hub. Preparing the site for future infrastructure not only brings us closer to realizing our construction plans but also demonstrates our approach to sustainable development.

The use of local grasses for seeding the site reflects our desire to preserve the natural landscape and biodiversity of the region. This will help minimize the impact of construction on the environment and ensure a harmonious blend of new infrastructure with the surroundings.

The next step will be to carry out the demarcation of the site boundaries. This will allow us to clearly define the boundaries of the territory for further fencing arrangements. Materials for fencing have already been purchased, indicating our readiness for rapid project advancement, ensuring proper land management and protection of the development area.

These measures are crucial for achieving our goals of improving tourism infrastructure, enhancing the park's attractiveness to visitors, and ensuring effective nature conservation. The creation of a camping pavilion and a visitor center will help us better serve tourists, provide them with information about the park and its values, and create comfortable conditions for outdoor recreation and forest bathing therapy.

We continue to actively work on the next stages of project implementation. Our team is confident that these efforts will contribute to the sustainable development of Verkhovyna National Nature Park, the preservation of its unique nature and cultural heritage, as well as support local communities through the development of ecotourism.
