Taras Kharachko

Taras has a PhD in Forestry (Forest Species Distribution). Since 2013 he has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Forest Plantations Department at Ukrainian National Forestry University. He is proficent  in Tree Nursing and Forest Planting. Taras also has experience in forestry, environmental protection, organization of production, marketing and administration of his nursery, «Kolodentsi decorative nursery», and takes care of the collection of more than 150 species and cultivars of woody plants. He is deeply involved in research and scientific University work; he has more than 30 publications in scientific literature. Taras is developing tree planting initiatives and managing urban forestry, city gardening, volunteering, and other community-oriented projects.
